El Deafo
by Cece Bell

El Deafo is an amazing book. It is a graphic novel which is basically a comic book but in the form of a whole novel, and it is AWESOME! It is the true story of a girl named Cece Bell who went deaf when she was four, it tells the story of Cece in such a funny and entertaining way. This book is truly magnificent and I highly recommend it! El Deafo is a wonderful book!!!

The End of October
by Lawrence Wright

This book was written pre-COVID-19, and it is eerily accurate. A deadly pandemic spreads across the globe and our infrastructure starts to break down. Sound familiar? Some of the plot points diverge from our current situation, but I could not put this one down.

Wing of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy (audiobook)
by Tui T. Sutherland

I highly reccomend this series. Granted, there is good but if violence in there which leads me to believe you should probably be a teen before you sit down to read it. I really enjoyed this book. The reader of the audio version did a very good job with voices and pacing. I highly reccomend to lovers of fantasy and dragons. This is one of few dragon series I have read and found well done.

The Runaway King
by Jennifer A. Nielsen

Jaron, king of Carthya, is faced with a challenge more deadly than any he has faced yet. And a rather angry assassin, his once-competitor for the throne: Roban. The Avenian king and his (somewhat) loyal band of pirates are threatening to invade Carthya and conquer it, so Jaron sets off on a quest to find the pirates, regain the friendship of Roban, prevent the destruction of his kingdom, rescue an orphan boy he takes a liking to, protect a generous noble who saved his life, and return to his capitol... before anyone realizes that he has left the capitol at all. Will he succeed in this daring quest, or will the kingdom itself fall to Avenia. Regardless of the outcome, one thing is certain: he cannot do it alone.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
by J.k. Rowling

I found this book very interesting as it unwinds the story of Harry potter and his third year at Hogwarts. As I read the book I learned secrets and surprises about Harry Potter and his past. I also enjoyed the plot of the story and how the book sets up the climax. While reading it I could tell that there was something going on behind the main story. The book overall was a great thrill and I enjoyed reading it!

The False Prince
by Jennifer A. Nielsen

A kingdom is in turmoil. The royal family has been assassinated by an unknown killer, and the twenty court regents are each vying for the throne. One of them, a minor regent called Bevin Conner, has an ingenious plan: he will round up a troop of orphan boys roughly resembling the long-dead prince Jaron, who was reported to have been slain by pirates four years prior to the deaths of the royal family, he will train them in the ways of royalty, and he will place one on the throne; a puppet prince directly answering to him, and him alone. Sage is one of the three boys selected, and he must do everything in his power to be selected, for it is plain that once one of them is chosen, the other two will be silenced forever. The fate of the entire kingdom rests in Sage's hands.

Leonardo da vinci (audiobook)
by Walter isaacson

Sixteen hours of strong information. It's a hard book to get through but well worth it. Analyzing EVERYTHING they can about Leonardo and his paintings, it does become interesting. I do reccomend to lovers of history, art history, and curious facts. The deep voice of the reader is soothing, too.

The shih tzu
by Jo Ann White

This is a very informational book. I think it's not as good written as it could have been, but that's just my bias. However I believe it has helped me in my decision on what breed I want to get when I get my own dog. I recommend it to those looking for books about the Shih Tzu breed.

Warriors Omen Of The Stars book 3
by Erin Hunter

I think this book it quite good my favorite part is when Ivypaw realizes that the dark forest cats are evil it is a really nice twist to the story. And the fact that the medince cats are told to keep to one another is quite the plot twist would have never seen that coming. Our when Flametail drowned and Jayfeather went in to try to save him but rock tole him not to was quite unexcepted.

Exposure
by Kathy Reichs

I highly reccomend the Virals series. The authors (the Reichs) are such good authors. Virals is about a group of friends that live in Charleston, SC. They are infected with a virus, which tracks their bodies and leaves them with a surprise. In a twisty turned around way, the group of teens constantly get into trouble. From kidnappings to ambushes, it's a wonderful strange series full of mysteries.
